Nicole Ajimal is an Amsterdam based textile designer, from London who specialises in timeless one-off designs. Taking inspiration from heirloom fabrics, punk/ska music and Japanese culture, Nicole uses a 24 shaft dobby loom as well as hand techniques to blend cotton, linen and mohair yarns, into fabrics with bewitching finishes. Although the inspiration for these works are global, the final production is undertaken with an aspect of care and devotion lost in the factories and mass production mills of our era. 

Currently Nicole works to bring sustainable sourced fabrics and trims to the world of fashion, working with companies such as Timberland, ASOS, Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
